The City of Tagaytay in the Philippines sits 33 miles in a straight line directly south of Manila (37 driving miles) and is known for its mild climate and picturesque views of Taal Lake and the famous Taal Volcano. Located on a ridge about 2,000 feet above sea level, it is a popular place for summer vacations, picnics, bulalo soup (beef shank and bone marrow), and of course WEDDINGS. This wedding pictured here (CTTO-Sunset and Pines) took place on Sunday January 12, 2020 as the Taal Volcano erupted with an explosion happening around 2pm. The couple, Chino and Kat Vaflorstil, still managed to complete their vows and push through with their big, and even more memorable, day. We are continually praying for the people of the Philippines affected by the eruption, including Mrs Joyfully Yours (Joy) and our 2 years and 10 month old son David who has asthma, both currently in Manila which is experiencing heavy ash fall as we speak.
Eine Aschewolke steigt 15 Kilometer in den Himmel. Das Paar scheint sich davon nicht aus der Ruhe bringen zu lassen.
